LG Electronics kicked off its series of 3GSM Congress announcements with teh KU250. This model took the grand prix at GSMA (GSM Association) "3G for all" contest, aimed at pushing 3G servies and making them available to broader audience.. 
The LG-KU250 is expected to cut 30% off wholesale price of an average entry-level 3G-enabled device, at that it will be still able to put up some competition for currently available multimedia GSM handsets. At only 15 mm thick the handset packs tri-band GSM and UMTS support, as well as a 1.76-inch display with a resolution of 176x220 pixels. The KU250 also features twin cameras (1.3 Mpix and VGA respectively) and enables playback of music recorded in the following formats: MP3, AAC, AAC+ è WMA. microSD memory expansion slot is also on the handset's spec sheet.
